Credit Group Membership Agreement

1. Membership Overview

Credit Group provides educational credit counselling services, tools, and resources designed to help Members better understand credit and improve their financial knowledge. Credit Group does not guarantee any specific credit score outcome.

2. Services Included

Your membership may include:

• Access to the Credit Rebuilding & Credit Counselling Course
• Educational tools and resources
• Member portal access
• Email support
• Ongoing content updates
• An optional Loan Readiness self-assessment with educational action plan
• Links to independent third-party financial product or service options

Services may be modified, updated, or replaced at Credit Group's discretion.

3. Membership Fee & Payment Authorization (PAD/EFT)

• The membership fee is $19.95 CAD per week.
• By providing your banking information, you authorize Credit Group Ltd. to initiate pre-authorized debits (PAD/EFT) from your bank account.
• Payments are processed weekly while your membership remains active.
• This authorization remains in effect until your membership is properly cancelled under Section 6.

You confirm that:

• You are authorized to use the provided bank account
• Sufficient funds will be available
• Your financial institution may apply NSF or other fees, which are your responsibility

4. No Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable once processed.

There are no exceptions to this policy.

5. Membership Term & Access

• Your membership begins when your application is submitted and accepted.
• Access to member content requires an active membership in good standing.
• Credit Group may suspend or terminate access if payments fail or this Agreement is breached.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by:

• Logging into your member portal and submitting a cancellation request, or
• Emailing admin@creditgroup.ca

7. Failed Payments (NSF)

• You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available.
• Repeated failed payments may result in suspension or termination of your membership.
• Credit Group is not responsible for any fees charged by your financial institution.

8. Disputes

If you believe a PAD/EFT was processed in error, you may dispute it through your financial institution within 90 days, in accordance with PAD rules.

9. Limitation of Liability

Credit Group provides educational services only.

We do not guarantee credit score improvement, loan approval, or financial outcomes.

10. Age & Legal Capacity

By entering into this Agreement, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in Canada

11. Electronic Signature & Records

You agree that:

• Electronic signatures and click-wrap acceptance are legally binding
• Credit Group may store application records, signatures, timestamps, IP address, and audit logs for compliance and dispute resolution

12. Amendments

Credit Group may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the membership after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.

14. Notices

All notices under this Agreement shall be delivered electronically via email and are deemed valid when sent to the email address on file.

16. Loan Readiness and Third-Party Financial Options

Credit Group may provide an optional Loan Readiness self-assessment, educational action plan, and links to third-party financial products or services, including but not limited to personal loans, credit cards, secured credit cards, credit builder products, debt consolidation services, or debt-help resources. The Loan Readiness score is an educational estimate only. It is not a credit bureau score, loan approval, pre-approval, or guarantee of financing. Credit Group is not a lender, broker, credit bureau, financial institution, debt consultant, or financial advisor. Any approval, rate, term, fee, or product decision is made solely by the independent third-party provider.

17. Compensation Disclosure

Credit Group may receive referral, affiliate, advertising, or similar compensation from certain third-party providers when a member clicks, applies, or is approved through a link. Any such compensation does not affect the member's weekly membership fee, does not guarantee approval, and does not change the educational nature of the service.

18. No Data Sharing With Third-Party Providers

Unless the member gives separate express consent in a future feature, Credit Group does not transmit the member's personal information, banking information, application data, or Loan Readiness answers to third-party providers. If a member clicks an external third-party link, the member chooses whether to provide information directly to that third party, subject to that third party's own terms and privacy policy.
